Homsey helped lead Rockhurst golf to a pair of victories last week.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Hank Homsey ’27 of Rockhurst golf was selected the SMA Sports and Subaru of Olathe Week 5 Rockhurst Athletics Athlete of the Week.
Homsey was the top Hawklet at both golf meets last week, which both resulted in Rockhurst wins. He was the runner-up at the 19-team Joplin Inv. after shooting 72 (E) and forcing a playoff, where he fell on the second hole. Homsey then was the individual champion of the Park Hill South Quad with another even par performance, shooting 35 for the nine-hole round.
Homsey and the Golf Hawklets will compete in three events this week.
